Our emblem is a heart with the cross superimposed on the world n the center and enclosed in a circle.  The circle represents faith; the heart, our underlying love; the cross signifies divine grace and eternal hope, and the world, the scope of our Christian mission.

The letters
YPD stand for the Young People's Department.   The colors of the emblem are also meaningful.  White - Angels and Sunrays;  Yellow - Sunshine Band; Red - Red Circle; Green Women of Faith; Royal Blue - Young Women's Auxiliary; Purple - Matron's Auxiliary; Blue - Crusader.  White also represents purity and is a compliment for all of the colors and symbolizes the cleanliness of heart and hand which is necessary to do God's work.
